I bought this thinking it would be just the thing I needed to hold my film flat so I could adapt my digital slr into a film scanner only to find that it is a convoluted, over thought, and poorly designed product that is more likely to scratch negatives than hold them in place. The only reason I gave it one star is because I was toying with the idea of buying the OpticFilm 120 and saving my self the hassle of building a dark box, after witnessing the poor quality of this device I will not be purchasing that scanner so I only wound up making a $50 mistake instead of making a $1000+ mistake.
