The Virtual Reality Panoramic Head with Multiple Sliding Plates from Manfrotto is designed to rotate a camera in its horizontal and vertical axis within the camera's nodal point. Therefore, once the camera's nodal point is established, the head helps the camera to create a 360° image. Moreover, the 12.6" panoramic head has a load capacity of 8.8 lb, and a front tilting range of +/- 180° along with a panning rotation of 360°, which locks via its independent pan lock. In addition, using the panoramic head in conjunction with a stitching program, you can make a virtual reality for a web site or other applications. To store and transport the head, the vertical arm is rotated at 90° and locked into place.

May I use a ball leveler such as FLM HB-75 Half Ball Leveler (BH #FLHB75 MFR #32 34 905) to get
the same leveling result ?For this Panoramic Head, which one is good for help, a ball leveler or a leveling base?
Both a ball leveler or a leveling base could be used with the Manfrotto Virtual Reality Panoramic Head with Multiple Sliding Plates. If you are using tripod legs with a 75mm half ball you could use the FLM HB-75 Half Ball Leveler for CP34 and CP38 Tripod Legs. If the tripod has a flat base with a 3/8"-16 stud you should get a leveling base.

question
how to shoot horizontally with Manfrotto Virtual Reality Panoramic Head with Multiple Sliding Plates ?
