Manfrotto MKPROVRUS Reviews
Too short for floor VR. Might be OK for tabletop VR.
What do you want to do with it? I'm not an experienced VR filmmaker, but I realized (through my own experience) that a viewer of your film will think his/her eyes are at the level where your camera was. If you place your VR camera on this tripod and you place the tripod on the floor, the viewer will have POV of about 2ft tall person (and when watching your VR film will think he/she is in the land of giants). I'm not certain that you want this effect. Will be OK if you want to film the table top VR film. Also: it's great as a general non-VR tripod (5 stars for quality). For a general VR tripod get something with a small footprint that will reach your own eye-height (if you want your viewer to have a sense they are standing). I'd give this 2 stars as a VR tripod. Average would be (5 stars [general] + 2 stars [VR]) 3.5 stars :-)
