This 4.9 x 9.8" rectangle of Light Seal Foam from Japan Hobby Tool is 0.039" thick and helps you easily repair worn down foam in compatible cameras. Light seals are commonly found in the back cover of film cameras and near the flip-up mirror of some SLRs, and proper maintenance of them is needed to prevent light leaks from altering your pictures. Thoroughly remove the old foam first, then simply cut the new foam into the proper shape and attach it on the same location. Application is simple thanks to the product's peel-off adhesive backing, which eliminates the need for a separate adhesive.

Japan Hobby Tool JHT9541-10 Reviews
Perfect for what I was doing.
Redoing light seals on a Konica C35V- easy to use and although the backing tape was a bit tough to pull sometimes it did allow me to avoid sticking the backing to itself. More than enough material to redo several cameras- will purchase again!
Great replacement for old, crumbling foam
The foam cushions on my two Pentax 6x7 viewfinders were crumbling and no longer effective. The Japan Hobby Tool foam was a great replacement, as it was easy to cut and put in place. Looks as good as new.
Cut carefully, works well
I used this to both repair light seals on a medium format camera and to create a mask for scanning negatives. The backing isn't too hard to separate, and the glue material sticks well.
