The Ortery 3D PhotoBench 80 is a software-controlled photography studio designed especially for jewelry photography. It features a 7.9" transparent rotational platform with a 3 lb weight capacity, and allows you to take up to 8.9 x 9.0" top shots, 8.9 x 9.0 x 10.0" side shots, and 5.75 x 5.75 x 9.5" 360° shots. Daylight LED studio lighting is adjustable from the bottom, back, and four corners. The lighting system is dimmable and creates a white background, allowing you to shoot your images on pure white or transparent backgrounds. The included control software (Mac/Win) will allow you to see real-time previews, make adjustments such as pre-cropping, control compatible Canon and Nikon cameras remotely via USB connection, and perform batch image processing, editing, and saving. Nikon cameras are only supported when you use the software on a Windows computer. You can even use Program Link to send images directly to Photoshop and other 3rd party image editing applications.
The workflow is as simple as placing your piece of jewelry inside, connecting the camera via USB cable, and using the software to compose and capture images. You can quickly get web- and print-ready product shots in RAW, JPG, TIFF, or PNG format, as well as 360° product views in HTML5, Flash, or GIF that are automatically downloaded to your computer.To maintain consistent results, settings can be remembered by the system and batch processed to maximize workflow. You can connect several Canon cameras via USB cables to achieve a fully-automated capture process using Windows computers. Also included is the Ortery TruView stitching software (Windows only), which lets you turn sequences of images into interactive 360° product views with image tags, hyperlinks, and audio. Customers will be able to drag the 360° animation in all directions with a mouse and zoom deep into it from any angle.
