  • 1Description

Listen on the go with the 2018 Samsung Gear IconX Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds in gray. These earbuds are completely cable-free, connecting to your smartphone and each other via Bluetooth 4.2 so there's no cord to go around your neck. 4GB of onboard storage lets you listen without your smartphone. A built-in activity tracker lets you record your stats on Samsung Health while voice coaching keeps you motivated.

The Gear IconX can be controlled by touch or voice thanks to Bixby and Google integration. Ambient Sound Mode allows some outside noise in to keep you aware of your surroundings when outside. Included with the earbuds is a portable charging case that has its own internal battery large enough to refill the IconX batteries to nearly 100%. Also included are standard ear tips and stabilizing Wingtip ear gels in small, medium, and large sizes.

    Samsung Gear IconX reviews

Gear IconX Wireless Earbuds (2018 Version, Gray) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 129.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing product but a little too expensive Great headphones. Very secure and sound amazing. One annoying feature when i first put them on though. It detected a workout and I could not cancel the workout for the life of me, and I was just sitting there. While I was using them for the first time it would repeat "work a little harder or "keep going". Extremely annoying. But I put them away in the charger for about 10 minutes and they were working as intended. I disabled the auto workout detection and coaching feature. I have Samsung gear sport for that. Great product though otherwise. A little too expensive though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall A Good Earbud I LOVE my IconX 2018. Everything about it is amazing except for a few minor things. There's no way to tell how much charge is left in the case in the gear app, the charging case scratches easily if dropped, and I can't adjust the volume on the ambient sound feature. The touch pad is fairly accurate but often mistakes volume changes for a single tap to pause. They are comfortable when in use but tend to leave my ears feeling sore afterwards. No complaints whatsoever on sound quality although which I appreciate! Charging Case is a bit awkward looking when put in pocket and for men especially.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome!! To be completely honest which is what we're asked to do the sound quality is amazing and I love the feature of wearing one ear Bud or the other or even both but I am still trying to adjust to finding out which style earpeace fits me best For the 1st full day of me having them I listen to them 7 hours straight of music While at work and didn't have Any issues and I also enjoy how you can use Bixby To contact Family friends or coworkers!! I feel the best part of these altogether is that they come in a sweet pocket case with charging status while keeping them safe when you're not wearing them [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little device These second generations Samsung Gear X earbuds are a definite upgrade compared to the previous generation. These low profile earbuds are much more comforable to wear while running or working out. Battery life is great and the included charging case means the earbuds are always fully charged. As long as the case has a charged battery that is. I have experienced an issue with the left earbud a few times. The sound goes quiet for a few seconds and then returns to normal. This seems to be sometinh experienced after extended use and may be due to a drop in battery charge. Great device and works well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Design, Minor Performance Issues These are easily the best earbuds I have ever owned. I'm not an audiophile, but the sound in these things is amazing and rich. My music has never sounded better. I absolutely love the battery life. I once forgot my case at home, and listened at various points throughout the day without issue. That said, if you need a charge, you need the case. They're mostly inseparable unless you're going on a short trip to the gym (which is the main reason I purchased these). They fit quite nicely once I found the right combo of wingtips/earbuds. They're comfortable and get a great seal. Occasionally as I'm walking or running, I'll hear an annoying clicking sound caused by an improper fit. A slight twist of the IconX locks it in place and I'm good to go. I also sweat a lot during workouts, and these have (so far) held up very well. My biggest gripe is the bluetooth connection. It's mostly very good, but about once or twice per session, connectivity drops for a quick second. For the price, I was hoping for a much more consistent connection. It's a minor issue, however, when compared to the plethora of other bluetooth headphones and earbuds I have owned. I love the 4 GB of internal storage, allowing me to workout without pairing them to any other devices. However, getting music on them has been a challenge. I use spotify premium and stream most of my music. Tracks downloaded to my phone via spotify simply won't transfer because they're encrypted files. I find this to be the case for most music applications except iTunes, which doesn't work on android. So I go through the whole rigamaroll of downloading songs on my computer, transferring them to my Galaxy8, and then transferring them to my IconX earbuds. It's a painful process and I wish there was a better way. One last minor issue, the touchpads are still a little wonky for me. I rarely tap in the right spot on my first attempt to pause music, skip a track, or answer a call. Conversely, sometimes clothing (hoodie, earmuffs, etc) will inadvertently register as taps and pause my music or skip a track. I doubt physical buttons would be a better solution, but perhaps a little tweaking could perfect this feature. Overall, one month in and I'm still a satisfied customer. This is a big step up from what I was used to, and I look forward to even more improvements in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from IconX Genuine Review Hi, I have been using the IconX for more than 2 weeks. I will list down the pros and cons of this. Pro's: 1) Better sound quality. It will give you the sound quality you will find this better even compared to bose pods. 2) Rich in functionality, You can invoke the voice assistant with couple of touches from pods. You can pick the call, end the call & even control the volume & it has all the music controls. 3) Fast charging and long lasting battery Cons: Even though it has multiple pros it has one defect. 1) Size of pods are relatively large and you may feel discomfort after wearing for a couple of hours. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much improved best out there Gear icon X 2018 best Bluetooth headphones I have used. Although they are not noise cancelling they have a nice snug fit and cut down on a lot of the background noise and with the option to allow ambient sound does not completely cut you off from the rest the world unless you want to. The bass response is good and tight . Battery life is excellent in and out of the case probably the biggest Improvement they have done this year. In summary I would say buy these headphones. I was going to do a pro and cons list but I don't have any cons. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pair of earbuds I love these earbuds. Overall work great. Icon PC manager is easy to use and transfer is fast. Charging is ridiculously fast. The fit is good. If you think they are not in right just twist forward or back and the fit does seem to get better. I will buy these again, hopefully i wont have to any time soon.
