The fire burst Peavey SC-1 is a 6-string electric guitar offering tonal versatility and a classic single-cutaway design for performing and recording guitarists on the stage, in the studio, or at home. It features 22 frets, a 24.75" scale length, chrome-plated hardware, and a basswood body with a carved top.
The maple bolt-on neck has a D-style shape and a rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays. A 3-way pickup selector allows different combinations of the two Peavey USA Design humbucking pickups, which utilize ceramic magnets and are calibrated according to their positions.
Dial in your sound via two volume and two tone controls and tweak the playing feel via the dual-action torsion rod. A tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece enhance tuning stability and make intonation adjustments simple. The SC-1 ships with DR Dragonskin strings.
