The Softie-Lite 0.82" Slip-On Fur Screen from Rycote is designed to complement short shotgun mics from Sennheiser, Schoeps, DPA, and Sanken. The fur-covered screen allows for faster booming indoors, compared to a standard foam windscreen.
It is suitable for outdoor applications in very light winds and can be used for transitions such as indoors to outdoors. The Softie-Lite 0.82" fits Schoeps MiniCMIT microphones.
