ARRI LMB 4x5 Lens Clamp Adapter Reviews
Worth the extra $$$ for ARRI

It's always so tempting to go with a no-name for accessories, but I decided to stick with ARRI for my Mattebox after hearing that other clamp on adapters struggled to secure to lenses. If you have the $$$ always go for ARRI.
Go with Arri.

Tilta, Bright Tangerine and even LanParte all make great things. But if you've spent the money on the LMB 4x5 don't cut corners on not buying the Arri clamp ons. I find the other brands, LanParte in particular, didn't grip the lenses as well as the Arri. If you want to save a hundred bucks and go LanParte, just be prepared to put the hurt on it each time for a secure fit-or tell your AC as much. It's not worth saving $100 to risk $5K worth of mattebox plus whatever filters falling off-let alone from a safety standpoint. The Arri is just easy.
