MegaGear MG1258 Overview

Protect your Panasonic LUMIX DC-ZS70 or DC-TZ90 from dirt and scratches with the Ever Ready Leather Camera Case and Strap in black from MegaGear. This leather case fits tightly around the camera and provides protection without giving up elegance or functionality.

A simple snap-closure flap allows you to quickly access the camera functions without needing to remove it from the case, which makes it practical for intermittent shooting. A threaded screw mount at the bottom allows for a tripod to be used while the case is on, and a detachable section even allows you to switch batteries without removing the case. The interior is lined with a soft cotton/polyester fabric to prevent scratches. This case is tailored for the Panasonic LUMIX DC-ZS70 or DC-TZ90.

perfect camera case!

Looks great, but bottom snaps are not strong enough

The leather case looks amazing. Exactly as the photos shown on website. The only problem I have are the bottom snaps. When I open the cover to use the camera and let the cover dangle with one snap still on, the single remaining snap is not strong enough to hold the weight of the cover. The cover will unsnap entirely and fall off. There is no way to tether the cover to the rest of the case. Last thing I want when taking a photo is to be holding a leather cover in my other hand.

The MegaGear Ever Ready Leather Camera Case for Panasonic LUMIX DC-ZS70 is only compatible with the ZS70 and Megagear does not make a case for the ZS80 currently.

Can I use this case with the Panasonic ZS50 model? The ZS50 is slightly smaller than the ZS70.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS50 is 4.4 x 2.5 x 1.4". The Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS70 is 4.4 x 2.6 x 1.6" / 112 x 67.3 x 41.2 mm. We see no difficulty in using this case for your camera.

Because this is a special order item direct from MegaGear, they ship it based on their specifications. Based on their website, it shows this SKU (#1260 - see below for link) coming with both the case and strap. And based on customer photos, it seems to be a medium-length strap that should work over one shoulder or over the neck. https://bit.ly/3wkFXAn

Can I use it for Panasonic ZS100? THe ZS70 is about 10mm thinner than ZS100.

Yes. I use it with that model. However, there are a couple of things you shoud know:1. The middle screw at the base of the case needs to be taken out since there is no attachment for it on the camera and it will scratch your camera if left in.2. The case fits a little too tightly around the lens and must be removed with care so as not to pull the cap off and damage the lens. Apart from this it is a nice case and it does offer protection from bumps and scratches.
