The black G6+ from LG delivers all the strengths and features of the original G6 smartphone, but with up to twice as much memory. Like its predecessor, the G6+ is designed around the features consumers want, including a user-friendly display size, advanced camera array, and powerful overall performance. The G6+ houses a 5.7" IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 2880 x 1440 resolution. Beneath its hood is the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, which features a big.LITTLE configuration. This setup utilizes two separate Kyro processors working independently from each other to better manage performance and battery life. Supporting this configuration are 4GB of RAM and, true to its "plus" designation, 128GB of built-in storage. If, for some reason, you need even more storage, the G6+ comes with a microSD card reader that supports cards up to 2TB.
The G6+ uses the same enhanced camera setup of the G6, which includes two rear lenses. One is a 13MP 71° field-of-view sensor with optical image stabilization and the other a 13MP wide-angle lens with a 125° FOV—great for taking panorama or group shots. A 5MP selfie camera is also onboard, and also offers both normal and wide-angle modes.
Bluetooth is onboard for pairing with other Bluetooth-enabled devices. 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi is also integrated for high-speed Internet connectivity. Built-in NFC allows you to instantly connect to other NFC-enabled devices for content sharing, simply by tapping the two devices together. A-GPS with GLONASS is also available for using location-based apps and services. Additionally, the LG G6+ features a 3300mAh battery that can deliver hours of use and can be recharged in a hurry thanks to integrated Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
Note: The US997U is the North American Variant of the LG G6+. It will run on any GSM network that uses cell frequencies supported by the device, including AT&T and T-Mobile. It will also work with certain CDMA carriers. SIM cards can be transferred to the new device, though the carrier may limit the purchase of new SIM cards for unlocked phones. Since this device is unlocked, functionality for certain carrier-specific features cannot be guaranteed. Please confirm with your carrier that it supports the LG G6+ before purchasing.
