The EVF Recoil Pro Rig from Zacuto Pro is designed to provide optimal balance and comfort while shooting handheld or tripod-mounted shots. It includes the VCT Pro Baseplate, EVA1 Top Plate, EVA1 Zip Trigger, and a Top Handle with 15mm rod lock.
The VCT Pro Baseplate features a sliding top plate for quickly removing the camera from the rig or changing lenses. It also features a built-in, curved shoulder pad, and a v-wedge tripod connector with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw options. The baseplate has removable and extendable 6.5” iris rods and rows of 1/4"-20 screw holes along the sides for accessories. It has quick-release 15mm rod parts on the rear. The recessed rod mount offers maximum accessory mounting space under your camera lens. In addition, the baseplate also features a built-in M6 rosette.
The EVA1 ZGrip Trigger is an adjustable handgrip for the EVA1 Relocatable Grip. It allows for single-handed 360° rotation with the press of a trigger. You can flip it down for a sturdy handgrip and raise it up for an Aaton-style position. You can also flip it up to set your camera flat on the ground or for storing in a case. At the end of the grip is another M6 rosette with an included adapter specifically for the EVA handgrip. The adapter screws onto the EVA1 handgrip in place of the Panasonic flange. This modified flange allows you to attach the grip securely to the M6 rosette on the ZGrip Trigger.
The EVA1 Top Plate has a built in Z-Rail for adding the Zacuto Top Handle or Recoil Handle. You can reattach your Panasonic camera Handle to the plate. The top plate has a multitude of 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 screw holes for mounting various accessories. At the back of the plate is a 15mm rod port for a Zamerican arm or other 15mm accessory for mounting the Panasonic LCD on an articulating arm. If you need to attach top rods to your rig, you can add 15mm Z-Locks to the top plate for top rods.
The Top Handle features multiple 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 screw holes for mounting various accessories. The 15mm Rod Lock provides a side facing rod port for mounting the Axis Mini or a Zamerican arm.
