Handhold your DSLR, monitor, or video light comfortably and stably with this Hand Grip from CAMVATE. Featuring a 1/4"-20 threaded screw at the top, the hand grip is compatible with a wide variety of gear. The hand grip's top mount is equipped with an I-shaped anti-skid plate with a red lock nut designed to let you easily and quickly mount and dismount your devices. Additionally, a 1/4"-20 threaded hole at the bottom enables you to mount the hand grip to a tripod or other piece of equipment.

It's well built for $15, run with it if you don't care about weight. This is only 2.75 long, but it weighed over 4oz on my scale. That's a lot of extra weight for a small component.

I think the Red Rock rubber grips are the best, but were not available so, I purchased a couple of these. A little slippery...

Solid grip; replaceable stud

Nothing much to say other than it's a solid grip and feels good in the hands. I discovered that the stud is removable by once over tightening it and the stud stayed in the device as opposed to the grip. I would consider that a plus as opposed to a problem, since that means the stud is replaceable. Definitely worth noting alongside the fact that the bottom ring also comes out revealing another female thread (see product pictures). It all adds flexibility for adding things like articulating arms if you really felt that need. You could also simply replace the stud with a sturdier double-sided stud as the stock one is hollow. Recommended.

With Camvate you have to make sure all connections are tight when you build, but for this price I cant justify the Arri costs. If you're an owner operator I think this has tremendous value. It will be a part of my kit for years to come.
