Do you have to use the same capacity/brand of batteries when using this device? For instance, I have both LP-e6 and Lp-e6n batteries, I have some Canon brand batteries and some third-party batteries. Will mixing the different kinds of batteries give me trouble?
Asked by: Coleman
When using the Canon BG-E20 Battery Grip for EOS 5D Mark IV, one should either use 2 original Canon LP-E6(N) batteries or 2 LP-E6 third party batteries together. When one mixes the original Canon batteries with third party ones, the grip will not function properly.
