The HP t530 is built around an AMD GX-215JJ SoC, 4GB of 1866 MHz DDR4 memory, 16GB of M.2 flash memory, and a Gigabit Ethernet port to utilize the computing resources of a server or cloud. This thin client comes pre-installed with a Windows Embedded Standard 7E operating system for accessing a virtualized environment, created from server-based software from VMware, Citrix, or Microsoft, to handle higher processing and graphics rendering workloads. Additionally, the Windows operating system has been made available through downgrade rights from Windows 10 IoT Enterprise for thin clients.
The AMD GX-215JJ System-on-Chip features two cores that operate between 1.5 and 2.0 GHz and can deliver 4K visuals via an integrated Radeon R2E graphics chipset.
