Designed for servers, point-of-sale, routers, switches, hubs, and other network devices, the Smart-UPS SMT1500C with SmartConnect from APC delivers intelligent and efficient network power protection from entry level to scalable runtime. It can provide 301 minutes of use at 50W, 172 minutes of use at 100W, 84 minutes of use at 200W, 51 minutes of use at 300W, 33 minutes of use at 400W, 23 minutes of use at 500W, 17 minutes of use at 600W, 10 minutes of use at 700W, and 8 minutes of use at 800W. It features an output of 1000W / 1440kVA, an input of 120V @ 50/60 Hz ±3 Hz, eight NEMA 5-15R battery backup outlets, a surge energy rating of 680 joules, line interactive topology, and a sine waveform. Included PowerChute Network Shutdown management software helps to provide unattended, yet proper shutdowns of network operating systems, and also included is an RS-232 cable and a USB cable. Support is provided by a limited 3-year repair or replace warranty that excludes the battery, as well as a limited 2-year battery warranty and a limited lifetime $150,000 equipment protection policy.

I'm using the ups to protect my computer, monitor and audio console. I have lots of power-blinks. I have two other, smaller ups units to protect smaller peripheral gear.

Solid performer
I own a couple of these... very solid, good hold-time. The GUI for configuring it is a bit clumsy (it should have a better http/network access)... but that's generally a one-time event, so I work through the pain. I do notice that it's pretty sensitive to power fluctuation [because of the # of alert emails I receive], but it's doing exactly the job I wanted it to do, so that's not a complaint, but a plus
Heavy and Expensive but Works!
Plug it into a wall outlet, plug your devices into UPS, and you're done. Not sure why all the fuss over software, etc. Power goes out, router, modem, and laptop keep me working from home uninterrupted. Enough said.
Great UPS
The device is easy to set up and the software is understandable. The outlets on the device are labeled and can be switched or unswitched. The only thing missing on this UPS is a USB outlet. I easily remedied that with a Powered USB hub.

Reliable Backup Power
Reliable backup battery power in case of power outage. Connected via a simple app to your network you are able to view the status of the UPS and receive notifications, so you know if there are any issues. Great product.

The UPS is expensive no matter where you try to get one. But I found the best deal here. An added bonus was the fast shipping and excellent customer service. I usually don't have to talk with anyone, just place the order online. But I needed to make some changes to my account and the lady I spoke with took care of it immediately.
