I use it on my DSLR in combination with Clutch and Slide. Great combo! It makes it easy to switch between handheld, sling carrry and my Manfrotto carbon fibre tripod. This is all You need for simple and flexible carry.

Great Build Quality But Lacking Compatability

Recently Went On A Trip Where I Purchased The Peak Design Slide Strap. And Wanting To Use The Option To Use An Anchor Point To The Tripod Mount On The Bottom Of My Camera. I Didn't Like The Adapter Plate That Came With The Slide Strap As If I Wanted To Go Between Using The Bottom Tripod Mount For The Anchor Point And A Tripod, I'd Have To Unbolt It Ever Time. I Thought This Adapter Plate Would Solve That Issue, Has The Openings For The Anchor Point, Is Arc Swiss Plate Compatible (my Travel Tripod), And Manfroto (main Tripod). It Solves All My Problems. I Purchased Two Of Them. After Getting It, While It Will Work Great For The Anchor Point, And Arc Swiss Plate, I Did Find It Not So Reliable In The Manfroto Tripod Plate. It's Fit Was Loose And Sloppy And Wiggles Around And Not As Reliable I'm Worried About My Camera Falling Out. Not Sure If It's Because My Tripod Is Manfroto Compatible. I Have Their Plates And They All Work. So I'd Say If You Were Wanting The Anchor Point And Arc Swiss Plate This Is A Good Option. On A Side Note, I Don't Like That It Also Uses A Hex Key To Attach And UN-attach. I'd Rather Have A Thumb Turn Lever So I Can Quickly Remove And Attach Without Needing Tools.

Can I mount this on the Sony 200-600 Lensfoot and use the Manfrotto MVH500AH, the Arcatech GP Ballhead and the PeakDesign Sling without needing to change Plates?

Yes. I do exactly the same thing with the same supporting equipment, except I don’t have that lens. I do use the dual plate mounted to the camera body of my Sony a6000 and a6400 cameras. The resulting system is very versatile. I’m sure you will find the combination of all of these very joyful to use. Just be careful with your large, expensive piece of glass. That’s a lot to swing around! The attachment in all of its various morphs can definitely handle it. Just be careful it doesn’t swing out on the PD sling and bump something!

No, the Peak Design Dual Plate v2 for Capture Camera Clip will not work on the Manfrotto MVH500AH Fluid Video Head. That head only accepts 501 style plates.

Yes the Peak Design Dual Plate v2 for Capture Camera Clip fits into the Peak Design travel tripod. But only in 2 directions as it needs to be clamped.

This plate is designed to work with the proprietary Manfrotto quick release system, however, it does also work with the Arca Swiss style clamp as well which is probably what the Sirui head has.
