Built for use in enterprise environments, the EliteDesk 800 G3 Mini Desktop Computer from HP is a secure and manageable PC with the performance required by today's workforce and a chassis to fit in modern workspaces. It is powered by a 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5-7500T Quad-Core processor that will allow you to run multiple applications simultaneously, and can also be boosted up to 3.3 GHz using Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0. The 8GB of 2400 MHz DDR4 RAM also helps the computer to run multiple applications simultaneously, as well as access frequently used files and programs. The current memory configuration is one 8GB module with an additional slot available for memory upgrades, making for a total of two 260-pin SO-DIMM slots. For storage of your files, a 1TB 7200 rpm SATA III 2.5" hard drive offers ample space to store your data, and there is also a 16GB Intel Optane drive. Intel Optane memory functions as cache, which stores frequently used data and programs to increase system responsiveness and decrease loading times. If you want to connect with external storage drives or other peripherals, the EliteDesk 800 G3 features one USB 3.0 Type-C port, which doubles as a charging port, and six USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one of which doubles as a charging port. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 chipset delivers a sharp, clear picture while allowing for a wide range of monitors to be used via its two DisplayPort and one VGA outputs at resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz. Whether you are listening to music, watching a movie, or playing a game, the Realtek ALC221 codec outputs high definition audio and delivers higher fidelity than standard audio controllers.

The EliteDesk 800 G3 Mini Desktop Computer includes an HP USB Business Slim keyboard, an HP USB optical mouse, a 65W external power supply that is 89% efficient, and a power cord. The installed operating system is Windows 10 Pro (64-bit), and also included is Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) recovery media.

Gigabit Ethernet & 802.11ac Wi-Fi
The system uses an integrated Intel I219LM controller for Internet access when connected to a router, modem, or network switch. For those who prefer to connect wirelessly, there is also integrated dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, which is installed using a PCIe M.2 2230 MiniCard slot.
Bluetooth 4.2
Compatible wireless peripherals, such as keyboards, mice, and headsets can be paired with this system using Bluetooth 4.2 technology.
USB 3.0 Type-C | USB 3.0 Type-A
On the front of the chassis, the USB 3.0 Type-C port doubles as charging port. The front of the chassis also has two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one of which doubles as a charging port, and the rear has four USB 3.0 Type-A ports.
Audio Output
The front of the chassis has two 3.5mm jacks, one of which supports headphones, while the other supports CTIA-style headsets. Headset connectors are retaskable to function as a line-in, microphone-in, line-out, or headphone-out port.
Drive Bays
Users can upgrade the storage in the system's 2.5" / 9.5mm drive bay, as well as add additional internal storage using the M.2 2230/2280 slot.

Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.
Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
Windows Continuum
Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it's not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.
Xbox on Windows 10
Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.
Windows 10 Pro
The Pro version of Windows 10 includes all of the features of Windows 10 Home plus many designed specifically for businesses users, including Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker disk encryption, and remote desktop access. Devices will also be able to join domains and the Azure Active Directory, and they can even access a specialized version of the Windows Store featuring custom, company-specific applications.
