Rated 5 out of 5 by from Take it from the PRO'S and BUY THESE! Simply awesome! Buy these cordless mics if you want clear reliable sound EVERYTIME! I am a wedding and events videographer and cannot live without these. I own 2 pair + and extra lav for them... Do not go out and buy cheap cordless mics for under $200, unless you just plan on using them to play with the kids in the backyard... You will eventually only end up buying these mics anyway... These mics are nicely priced for the amount of quality you are getting, so buck up!>>> My personal tip of the day... If you buy CHEAP >>> You buy TWICE! >>> REMEMBER THAT!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy these and not the cheaper ones.... I've used the g3 series at my tv station for quite some time and when I needed a set for my own, I decided to save $200 and go with the g3's competition. They sounded great but they were bulky and made entirely of plastic and I knew they wouldn't stand up to professional use. I returned them for the g3 series and I am so happy that I did. Small, metal frame, great sound. Not to mention this mic came with a $100 bh gift card and free custom fitted skb case which are awesome. These mics are professional, plain and simply. You could save some money going with another brand but they won't last...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crisp Audio all around I'm very happy with this product. The battery will last a while and easy to change them for rechargeable. The distance is super, and the frequency doesn't get any interference. I do have some trouble cliping the mic from time to time as the clip is kind of weird, but maybe its because i have little experience in there. For example, t-shirts stink, but dress shirts to pin down the buttons is fine. Maybe its just me but otherwise the device is amazing with crisp audio. Cant complain- I route it to my ZOOM h4n through the XLR (1) and then have to use MTR mode there because its not dual, but it works perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lavs worked good in the field I shot a documentary in Haiti. Shot with an HVX. Strapped the lav to active bodies. Some doing hard labor in fields. Sound was solid. We could shoot from a distance and still get great sound. This was so long as there was no obstruction. General rule was, if we could see the subject, we could hear the subject. They are durable as well. Ours were beat around a little, but they still look like new. Battery life is long (two AA's). We had ours running nearly 8 hours a day straight and never came close to a low signal in a single day. The package doesn't give a lot of options for clipping/ hiding the mic. If you want anything other than a basic lapel clip you'll have to buy separately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Microphone! We use this product for health and wellness instructors to where while we shoot with 2 cameras in a yoga studio. We have used a moderate quality lavalier for previous shoots and the reception and sensitivity was excruciating in post. The Sennheiser changed the game. No longer having to think about our quality getting lost anywhere within a 30 minute live to tape sequence. Stress has been lifted since we purchased this item. Sliding right on top of our Canon XF100, T3i, as well as our previous camera, the Panasonice AG AC 130, the Sennheiser looks good and works well. Portable, durable, subtle, and strong, we are very pleased with this microphone set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing...do not think twice! Do not settle for less. Save up the pennies. Yes, it costs more. However, you will be so incredibly glad you spent the extra money over the long term. Tried some lesser priced ($200) lav system that was supposed to be ok...and to be honest wondered if it was worth the extra money to get the Sennheiser. Obviously there are differences in terms of what it expected for sound quality. Here is what I can tell you about the system: (1) there is a pride in ownership, (2) people around you take it seriously, and, (3) THERE REALLY IS A DIFFERENCE. I love the ease of use and the clarity of sound. This replaces one that was accidentally thrown from the fourth floor of a building -- my one caveat to owning this would be that it does not fly (actually, it does fly, it has problems landing).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very dependable and I'm glad I bought it. I purchased a cheaper wireless mic system and it wasn't worth the trouble and investment. Way too much hiss. B & H quickly gave me a full dollar amount exchange and I purchased this Sennheiser unit instead. I'm glad I did! I use it mostly on a Canon DSLR for video recording purposes. This mic is easy to use. (Note: I hate owner's manuals so I went to Youtube and viewed several videos on the set-up of this system. They were very helpful and easy to understand). This mic is easily adjustable to get the very best sound out of a DSLR. I am very happy so far! Two things though. I got burned on my first recording because the Mute switch was inadvertently pushed to the Mute position. I was recording with a GoPro at the time so I couldn't monitor the audio. I've since learned you can look at the meters on the unit to see if you have good reception and a good incoming level. The second thing is: I have used these during my days as an ENG photographer. They have always come through for me on the job, BUT, the microphone cable that comes with it can break. Be careful when you are through using it. Don't wrap the cord tightly around the units. (Reporters were famous for this.) Find a way to gently stash the cord in a safe place and you'll get a lot of use out of the cords. Back in my news days, either the TX or RX would get dropped on the floor eventually, but they always seemed to work. I just wish the mic cable was beefier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with sennheiser There are better wireless mics out there, but they give slightly better sound quality for a lot more money. For now, I am really happy with my sennheisers. This is my third set of wireless lavaliers, and I get dropouts extremely rarely, and the mics have so far have performed fine in adverse conditions. Sennheiser also has a great repair policy and I'm very impressed with them as a company. If they came out with a digital wireless lav, and it was on par or less than the others, I would buy it in a second. I hope they will.
