The receiver itself plugs directly into iOS devices with the included micro-USB to Lightning cable, though it can also communicate with other devices utilizing either micro-USB or USB-C cables. Once the transmitter and receiver are paired, low-latency audio streams from one to the other without sync issues. The Go Mic Mobile Wireless Beltpack and LM8 Lavalier (No Receiver) from Samson is a replacement beltpack and LM8 lavalier mic for the Go Mic wireless microphone system. It can be used when paired with the Go Mic receiver (sold separately) to capture audio for interviews or speeches, on your smartphone, or DSLR camera.

The Go Mic beltpack and LM8 lavalier mic is suitable for performers who which to exhibit freedom of movement in their visual recordings.
