  • 1Description

Enjoy bright, WUXGA content with the Epson Home Cinema LS100 Full HD Laser 3LCD Home Theater Projector. Its 4000 lumens of color and white brightness is suitable for a variety of lighting conditions, while its 2,500,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio enhances detail when viewing dark images. The projector delivers WUXGA 1920 x 1200 native resolution for clear images at most viewing distances.

The Home Cinema LS100 features an ultra-short 0.27 to 0.37:1 throw ratio, allowing you to place it very close to your screen or wall to prevent shadows from people passing between the projector and a wall or screen. It features one VGA and three HDMI inputs to connect both standard definition and HD sources. Additionally, one HDMI input is MHL-compatible for connecting compatible smart devices. An IR remote control is included for added convenience.

Bright, Colorful Output
The projector features 4000 lumens of color and white brightness for enhanced vibrancy.

    Epson Home Cinema LS100 reviews

Home Cinema LS100 WUXGA Laser 3LCD Home Theater Projector is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impecable performance I've owned several video projectors at home for over 10+ years. Even longer if you count the office. Several projectior types including LCD, DLP, etc. While they look fantastic in a dedicated dark room/media room, none of them have ever compared to this massive offering in a plain room. No preparation required. From as little as 5 inches away from your wall to as far as 15+ inches right in front of you (it's an ultra low throw projector meaning you can put it up in front of you in the very front of the room, instead of the back) you get a huge picture. Of course you can mount up near the ceiling if you want to, but why would you? - I mean all my other projectors have been mounted but why do that here. Just get a very low table (10 - 12 inches height or lower) and you're all set! The specs are impressive (three LASER engines that last 10-15 yrs depending on mode used before burning out instead of traditional "lamps", etc) What really counts is the performance. With 4,000 lumens (brightness) it can be seen in plain daylight shown on a blank wall. With a screen, specially one specifically created for ULT projectors (that blocks light from above) it looks like a gigantic flat screen TV. By gigantic I mean anywhere from 80 inches to 130 inches wide in plain daylight. Shortcomings? It doesn't display Ultra 4K natively (1080p native as indeed ominous as that sounds)- but as counter-intuitive as that seems it's much better that my 4K ultra+ 70 inch flat tv. I have the projector coupled with an Oppo blue ray 4K DVD 230 and watching Bladerunner 2049 as a reference test, it bathed us and the entire room in deep colors projected on a flat white wall (no screen). For TV source I've tried Amazon Fire Cube, Chromecast Ultra and Roku Ultra. Currently preferring the Roku but they all look great. As much of a 4K snob as I've been, with this I can't tell the difference. Truly incredible experience. It may not be for everyone, but it sure works for me.I can post pictures of it in action but you can look at a review that projector people did and they even show a video. But picture or video is nothing like experiencing it live. I'm in love with this thing.
