Can this projector replace a HDTV in the living room where there is a decent amount of light? I am not a huge fan of 4K as much as I am to having a 150inch full HD screen.
Asked by: Sai Prashant
No it cannot. Home Theater projectors like these demand a darkened cinema-like interior space.

Bought it and I love the quality of the projection! But how do you connect a BOSE 700 soundbar + BOSE Subwoofer + BOSE surround speakers ? Do you need a HDMI converter ? Any other options? Going through a Blue Ray player?
Asked by: Francois
You would need to connect to he BOSE 700 soundbar via its digital audio optical input and the projector's 1/8" (3.5 mm) audio output. An adapter would be required: Gefen GTV-AAUD-2-DIGAUD - Analog Audio to Digital Audio Adapter B&H # GEATVDA: https://bhpho.to/3auatxa Use this adapter: Hosa Technology Stereo Mini Male to 2 RCA Male Y-Cable (6') B&H # HOYCSMM2RM6: https://bhpho.to/36cRxjh

question

How does the 16:9 resizing works? Does it still projects a 16:10 image, only letterboxed? Or does it actually shoves off the difference between the two aspects ratios, projecting true 16:9? Reason is I bought a 16:9 screen, and want to install a projector that makes full use of the screen surface.
Asked by: Descomplica C.
Here's the deal.. my projector doesn't have perfect black... it will be slightly illuminated in all the black areas, distracting at first, but you get used to it.You can position your projector to put the black areas outside the screen and fill the screen with yoir usable image.I recommend a darker gray screen... this projector is crazy bright, even on the lowest possible setting. Also be aware there is a manual focus adjustment toggle on the right side that you slide up and down..... good luck! Enjoy it, I am!
