The NextComputing Edge P100 is a portable All-in-One workstation that can be easily transported to different locations and is designed to handle demanding tasks such as rendering VR environments and compiling complex programming codes. To accomplish these tasks, the Edge P100 comes equipped with an unlocked Intel Core i7-7700K processor and 32GB of DDR4 memory. The processor sports four cores that run between 4.2 and 4.5 GHz speeds and come with 8MB of cache memory. For storage, the workstation is equipped with a 1TB M.2 SSD that operates under PCIe lanes to deliver data faster than a SATA-based SSD. Windows 10 Pro is the preinstalled operating system on this drive. Aside from storage, an AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100 graphics card is on board for outputting smooth visuals to the built-in 17" display, which has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080, and up to four DisplayPort-enabled monitors.
As for connectivity, the NextComputing Edge P100 provides six USB 3.0 ports along with a Thunderbolt 3 port that grants 40 Gb/s speeds as well as connectivity with up to six Thunderbolt 3 devices. To access the Internet, a Gigabit Ethernet port and 802.11ac Wi-Fi are available. There's also Bluetooth for accessing speakers and headsets, wirelessly. Other notable connections include optical and audio jacks powered by a Realtek AC1200 audio processor to complete the multimedia experience. Additionally, included along with the Edge P100 workstation is a wired keyboard and mouse set as well as a padded carrying case for protecting the AIO during transport.
