Dracast L-Series Reviews

Charger a little goofy.

Executive summary: it’s a fine charger/battery combo, seems to work to spec so far. The Sony adapter is not locked to the charger unit (a friction “knob” keeps it in place while charging). Note that when taking off batteries after charging the adapter comes off. You will have to determine if that’s a problem or not. I find it annoying, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Also, the folding Edison prongs are either a great storage feature, or an annoyance. Again, you’ll have to decide.

Awful waste of money

No. The A7-series camera use either the NP-FW50 battery (gen 1 and 2) or the NP-FZ100 (gen 3). NP-F style batteries are more commonly used in camcorders and video accessories.
