Firefield Stronghold Reviews

Good as or better than a Harris at half the cost

This is a tank of a bipod with features usually found on bipods at least twice the price. You should buy one before the price goes up. Its sturdy, tilts and traverses, making it a great asset for precision shooting. The legs extend under spring pressure making deployment quick and easy. The included lock lever is an add-on with many other tilting bipods but is included on this one which also traverses. One caution: I had to return the original to Firefield because they advised me to try to repair an assembly defect myself and the fix didnt work. I havent any of dozens of reviews noting the defect mine had (looseness between the cradle and traverse mechanism) and the replacement is perfect. This monopod is a bit on the heavy side, but I dont notice it on the 6.5 Grendel or DMR 5.56 ARs I mount it to.
