I wanted to extend the 6 cable that comes with the camera. I ran speed tests before adding the extension cable using 8 &16 bit rates, full frame and ROI. Full frame at 16 bit it would do 92fps, that was the poorest setting for speed but very good! Other settings I could go up to around 240fps. Adding the cable made no difference at all of what it could do, was expecting a bit of a drop. So VERY happy with it's performance. Don't know if a higher resolution camera might max out it's capabilities?
Purchased to try as an alternative for the Oculus Link cable on the Quest 2. Works like a charm. Attach whatever high speed USB A to C cable you want to the extension, plug in the headset and you are good to go. Had for about 3 months now and no issues so far. Super happy with this product for the price and an awesome alternative to the Official Link Cable @$90. 32' feet is really nice for extending to different rooms!
