With a partial silver reflective interior, this white globe is ideal for creating soft and even light that spreads in all directions. It comes equipped with a Bowens speed ring, making it compatible with Bowens Gemini and Calumet Travelite strobes, among other models. Made of a heat-resistant fabric with sealable venting, the softbox can be used with strobes and continuous lights including hot lights. A push down clip system makes set up and tear down quick and easy, and a carrying bag is included to simplify transport.

I’ve been using this product since 2019, but the aluminum components are now starting to disintegrate, likely due to the humid climate here in the Caribbean. The fabric, however, remains very strong, with only two small holes after years of use. It’s been great overall—quick to set up, with a neutral color for clean lighting. I didn’t use it heavily until the last few months, but now that I work more frequently with flash, I need something more durable. I’m looking for a solid replacement that won’t require frequent replacement due to wear and tear.

The first time I used it I thought how are these images going to turn out? but they looked better than I thought they would. I am impressed by this ball of light, and it is easy to put together. I had it up and running in about five minutes.
