Illuminate entire rooms with this Lantern Globe Softbox from FotodioX. With a partial silver reflective interior, this white globe is ideal for creating soft and even light that spreads in all directions. It comes equipped with a Broncolor Impact speed ring, making it compatible with Broncolor Impact and Visatec Solo B strobes. Made of a heat-resistant fabric with sealable venting, the softbox can be used with strobes and continuous lights including hot lights. A push down clip system makes set up and tear down quick and easy, and a carrying bag is included to simplify transport.

I want to use with profoto HMI 800w. Its heat resistent ?

I've only used them with strobes, have had no experience using hot lights with these. However, the product's description does say Made of a heat-resistant fabric with sealable venting, the softbox can be used with strobes and continuous lights including hot lights.

Can this softbox (20 ) handle the heat from a 500W tungsten source? Also, do you know of a socket mount for regular bulbs that is compatible?

I'm only using it with a Novatron bare tube strobe. That 500 W puts out a lot of heat. Can you go to LED?
