Smith-Victor LED60 Reviews
Didnt last a year before it blew out...
Throws some good light when coupled with a light box. Exhaust motor can be annoying but reasonably quiet overall which is ironic – They will overheat if kept on too long as mine just did. Price is way too high for the hassle. Question for B&H: Is there a warranty on these bulbs? If not...there should be.
4600k and it buzzes
The promise was 5400k but I measured it at 4600k. Additionally, the fan emits a low buzz or hum -- enough to be heard in a video shot if the bulb is within 6 feet. All in all, the bulb would be useful to light a still photo or, in a video, the background only.
Bright!
Maybe not quite as bright as a 500W halogen, but still impressive for the cost and size. I'm considering using them to replace incandescent lamps in some 6" Fresnel spotlights.
