will the pcket wizard lll , one on camera, one in hand for remote trigger, fire a set of tt5's..??
Asked by: Robert
You can use a Plus 3 in your hand and a Plus 3 on the camera to fire a pair of TT5 attached to flashes or cameras. In this combination you would not get any TTL or HSS features from the TT5s.

I want to shoot my Canon 5D MarkIII via wireless ...

I want to shoot my Canon 5D MarkIII via wireless remote and have it fire my Canon 650EX off-camera flash on a light stand. If I have a PocketWizard on the camera hot shoe, and a pocket wizard with a cable plugged into my flash, can I handhold another Pocket Wizard to wirelessly remote trigger the camera and flash to go off simultaneously?
Asked by: E.
To trigger a remote camera which then triggers a remote flash (Auto Relay), you need 3 PocketWizard radios. The radio in your hand should be set to Channel 17 (for example). The next radio needs to be in the hot shoe of the camera, connected to the camera via the CM-N3-ACC cable, also set to Channel 17. The receiving Plus III needs to be set ONE CHANNEL HIGHER (in this case, Channel 18). The radio in your hand will trigger the camera from the Plus III and remote cable. When the camera's shutter moves, it will send a signal through the hot shoe. The Plus III in the shoe will then send out the signal on a different Channel to ensure proper sync. The third radio will then fire the flash. If you set them all to the same Channel, the flash will fire before the camera.

Will these work using a Flex TT5 as a slave on manual?
Asked by: Felix
The Plus III can send and receive Standard Channel signals only. The FlexTT5 can send both Standard and ControlTL Channels at the same time. It can receive either type of Channel but can only listen for one type at a time. If you are using a Plus III as the transmitter, you should set the FlexTT5 to Basic Trigger mode in the Utility, under the Misc tab. With that setting, it will only send or receive Standard Channel signals.

Hello, does the pocket wizard plus 3 works with canon eos R, as I have the flextt1 that fire the elinchrom studio flashes but off sync?
Asked by: Dan
Yes, the Plus III will work with the EOS R. You should also be able to set the MiniTT1/FlexTT5/FlexTT6 radios to Basic Trigger mode and they should also work with your EOS R as well, in manual mode, up to X-sync.

how to connect pocketwizard plus iii to canon 1dx mark ii?
Asked by: Serge
If you're using it as a remote shutter release, you'll need a compatible cable from the PW3 to the flash terminal on the side of the camera. If you're using it to fire an off camera flash, just slide it into the hot shoe. Remember that you'll a PW3 for each device.

Yes! You will need one PocketWizard for your camera and one for each remote strobe. The Plus III radios come with a miniphone to miniphone cable, which is the size you need for the AlienBee.
