Will this cartridge replace my P135S Cartridge for my Technics SL-D20 Turntable? If so, should I purchase the Conical of Elliptical Cartridge?
Yes, the Audio-Technica Consumer AT81CP Conical Phonograph Cartridge for P-Mount Turntables can be used as a replacement cartridge and stylus for the Technics SL-D20 Turntable. This conical version as well as the AT85EP Elliptical stylus can both be used. Elliptical will pick up more detail and less distortion due to being able to make contact with a larger groove area on a record's surface, however it also stands to wear down more quickly than a conical stylus.
