Price per GB for its size, having a decent controller copared to the cheaper options, and some more expensive options not really neccessary to buy compared to this. The shell to the ssd even feels like aluminum instead of many drives that use plastic, so that is a nice touch, to my liking.

Fast.

I have been looking for a great SSD and I have finally found the one I needed. It is perfect! Very fast and light, and I dare to say that this is the best option for 2.5 SATA SSD! Kudos to Crucial for creating a software for cloning hard disk. I installed my new SSD on the motherboard, used the software, restarted my pc and I have been using my baby SSD. Again, gj Crucial for simplifying the proccess.

I've used these drives to update old PCs. It makes a massive difference in performance regarding booting and loading. I believe there's a cache for power failure as well. So far very happy with the drive.

Is the actual useable storage space 500gb or is it less?
Asked by: A J
All drives will have less capacity once you have formatted it. A 500GB drive like the Crucial 500GB MX500 2.5" Internal SATA SSD BH #CRMX500500S1 will have approximately 475GB of usable space or a bit less.
