Is the actual useable storage space 500gb or is it less?
All drives will have less capacity once you have formatted it. A 500GB drive like the Crucial 500GB MX500 2.5" Internal SATA SSD BH #CRMX500500S1 will have approximately 475GB of usable space or a bit less.
