The Pyle Pro PMIDIPD20 is a MIDI control drum pad designed for pro-audio use. It’s suitable for home and project studios. The PMIDIPD20 provides 12 trigger pads for playing samples and triggering sounds, along with two assignable buttons that act as MIDI CC switches. Six transport buttons are also on hand, and these can be assigned to external controllers as well as your DAW. These buttons, which include rewind, play, fast forward, loop, stop, and record functions, can transmit control-change messages or MIDI machine-control messages.
The 4 banks allow you to choose between different settings simply by navigating with the bank buttons. An X/Y slider allows for volume control.
Included with the unit is downloadable software which allows you to edit and change the assignment of each control function, except for the X/Y slider which always controls the master volume.
The unit communcates with your computer and draws its power over USB, which is how it communicates with your computer. Compatible with Mac and Windows computers, the PMIDIPD20 requires no drivers for installation. A USB cable is included.
