Besides the BoomBoxes, the Deflector is also compatible with Westcott's Rapid Box Octa, Octa Mini, and Rapid Box Strip softboxes.

What is the thread size of the thumbscrew it comes with?

The Angler BB-DP Deflector Plate for F-Boom comes with a thumbscrew threaded at 1/4"-20, which is standard for most camera accessories.
