Radio (2.4GHz) vs Blue Tooth

In my workflow I always need a wireless remote shutter trigger. For years I have always used the Yongnuo radio triggers which have been very reliable. In looking for a cleaner look with my set-up I wanted to try this LanParte controller which is a blue tooth signal. It didn't work! The blue tooth signal failed throughout the shoot. Turning the camera on and off to reconnect was needed. I brought the radio controller along just in case and finished the shoot.

Worked flawlessly out of box. Be aware that dongle is real tiny & easy to lose on a busy shoot. I’ve added Velcro so it attaches to remote.

Will the signal from this remote interfere with Flashpoint/Godox 2.4 Ghz strobes?

They will not interfere with each other, even though they are both 2.4ghz, they have different sub frequencies.

What does the zoom button do? I plan to use this with an A7III. Does the zoom button control focus? Which lenses are compatible with the zoom feature of this remote? Thanks

I use this unit with my Sony a7III and it works great. For my primes FE1.8/55 & FE1.8/85, you can shoot in any file format, power button will focus as well as take the picture. However for my zoom lenses FE4.5-5.6/G OSS & FE 4/24-105G OSS, file format must be JPEG and Zoom Setting must be set to Clear Image Zoom. Not familiar with a zoom button as mine has a W - T toggle and that is used to zoom in and out.
