The Norman P808TLC Power Supply operates with all Series 500 lampheads.
The Norman 808TLC is similar to the P808MTLC, but gives the photographer 400 additional w/s and the option of using a TLC controller, which stands for "Tone Light Control."
For portrait applications where speed is important, the controller allows easy exposure changes via the power supply to accommodate different skin tones. At the press of a button it is possible to boost the main and fill light by one stop, by providing 400 w/s on outlets #1 and #2. This makes it ideal for portrait applications where umbrellas or soft boxes are utilized. All 1200 Watt/seconds can also be utilized through one lamphead.
The power supply is equipped with an audible alarm which beeps in the event of a lamphead misfire, making it an ideal choice for high volume school photography. The lamphead modeling lamps automatically track the flash outputs, verifying the recycle of the pack.
