The 0.7x Wide-Angle Adapter with 100mm Clamp from Cavision features 0.7x magnification, widening your camera's angle of view by 30%. The adapter is compatible with all lenses that have a 100mm front diameter and 117mm back thread, and it features a clamp-on design using a thumbscrew.
The adapter is suitable for 2/3" broadcast lenses and has a fixed focal design. The glass is multi-coated for protection, has no light loss, a 0.2 MOD, and it is constructed with a single element. Separately available step-down rings are available to fit on different lens diameters.
Note:
This adapter will not work on DSLR lenses and 50mm Anamorphic lenses (without macro focus control). Cavision wide-angle adapters will not work on lenses with shortest focal greater than 20mm. See compatibility notes below.
Compatibility
- If the shortest focal of the lens is less than 10mm, there will be no focus issues and the wide-angle adapter should work.
- If the shortest focal of the lens is between 10 and 20mm, a back focal/macro is needed to focus, so you will have to check if their lens has back focal.
- Cavision wide-angle adapters will not work on the customer's lenses with the shortest focal greater than 20mm.
