    Moza Air Cross reviews

AirCross Gimbal for Mirrorless Cameras is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Product! I use it with my Sony a6300. And I also bought a power connector. This gimbal can keep my camera shooting all day with the connector! There's this advanced timelapse in MOZA App. I can set the camera shutter time and make a plan and it just goes shooting! Perfect!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost, but not quite Construction, build, etc about what you can expect from a $400 gimbal. It's just adequate. Doesn't work well with the Panasonic G85 I bought it for. While the G85, Smallrig cage and 12-35 2.8 are within the published weight restriction, it barely balances before running out of room and hitting the moter on the right. Which prevents you from removing the SD card without taking the camera off the gimbal. Which is a problem. The joystick control is not very precise, but does work. The android app is o.k. Like anything else that has to do with video production, there are few real bargains. More expensive is usually better. Everything has compromises, though. And for the price, those compromises might be acceptable. While I'm going to spend the money to get a better gimbal, I'll pass this on to a young filmmaker friend who will enjoy it, I'm sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good gimbal at amazing cheap price Works perfect on my GH4 camera, especially the the power supply functions to camera via the power connection cable, making my camera can work at least 2 more hours; And its new Roll follow mode, and its previous 3 modes all works perfectly. And the price is just 419usd, really good gimbal to try.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I have gone through two and pitch motor defective. Using the GH5s with the 12-60mm lens and balanced perfect. Work great the first day. Second day on both it acts up and start slowly vibrating harder and harder. Moza support will not respond to me and I will need to just ask for a refund and get something else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gimbal and features for mirrorless cameras I use this gimbal with my a6300 + 10-18 and it works great. I like that they DID include the tripod base as it makes balancing so much easier. I found the gimbal relatively pretty easy to balance (You Tube videos help) and I have never run out of juice on the gimbal. One thing I will say is that ALL gimbals take a little time to master to get really buttery smooth footage, so you should practice a few time just to get used to it. Also the smartphone apps lets you maintain four separate settings profiles with the camera configuration that work best (if you have different camera bodies and lens combinations). I will say out of the box the pan and tilt were a bit to fast for my taste, but the app let me slow it down to where I like it and now it is saved for future use, so no issue. The case is very sturdy and the foam cut-outs keep is save for transporting. The battery charger is a little big, but not as big as it looked in the pictures. Another bonus of this gimbal is that they provide a Sony and Panasonic shutter cable which in real use is more valuable then I thought it would be because the a6300 video record is recessed and prior when I would start/stop record on the camera it would jerk, this cable eliminates this problem as it is a light touch on the gimbal to start/stop for very smooth video. Other Air Cross benefit is that you can grab the camera and just point it to where you want it to shoot and the gimbal does not fight you (as long as you turn on that option in the smartphone app). For each the four profiles you can change the default operation mode which for me I prefer as I usually use one the majority of the time over the others for now and it always starts the gimbal in that mode. I never heard of Moza/Gudsen before, but they really thought out this package as it has everything you need to get started and option to take it to the next level (like dummy battery that feed power off of the gimbal so you do not have to remove the camera to change the spent camera batteries). It is built very solid and does have weight to it but that is what makes it secured and balance. Quaility of the gimbal is great and very smooth edges/construction. The fact that they included a quick releases makes it easier to swap cameras or mount when going out to shoot quickly. I cannot say anything bad about this gimbal and the package they put together. Only option I might consider in the future is the dummy battery, but will see. I have not started with the time-lapse modes yet, but they seem very robust and look forward to learning those.
