The Planet Waves Screeching Halt Humidifier enables easy humidification of the body and neck joint of an acoustic guitar for musicians performing live, recording in the studio, or storing instruments for safe keeping. By fitting snugly and covering your guitar's soundhole, it can be used in or out of the case and doubles as a feedback reducer. The hydrophilic sponge holds up to twelve times its weight in water and releases moisture reliably and gradually.

Simple maintenance involves moistening the sponge when the humidity falls below a safe level (40 to 60% relative humidity)
Releases moisture slowly and evenly while capturing the vapor inside the body of the instrument to retain the proper humidity level
