Windows 10 Home

Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.
Cortana
Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana, can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the Internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Notebook, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information-gathering skills.
Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.
Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
Windows Continuum
Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it's not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.
Xbox on Windows 10
Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.

    Samsung Notebook 9 reviews

    13.3" Notebook 9 is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight with a beautiful display I sampled many 13 inch Notebooks before this purchase. The Notebook 9 is incredibly light and the battery life is amazing. It's an all day laptop. Performance is excellent. It's a speedy multitasking machine and the selection of ports should suit anyone's needs. The keyboard feels very good to type on and the trackpad is excellent. The star of the show is the display. Its BRIGHT! The colors are excellent and Samsung has some very nice custom settings that I've use to tailor this to my needs. Virtually no bloatware which I greatly appreciated. I'm very happy with my purchase and I recommend this to anyone!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Replace an iPad and desktop all-in-one. Great design and incredibly light! It looks great and the display is wonderful. I needed the portability to replace my iPad and the power of a desktop, this does it. My only concern was the poor graphics card, but that's the comprimise for the overall design. I don't do heavy editing or gaming so it really isn't a problem. It starts up in maybe 5 seconds and is ready to go. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for an ultraportable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Laptop A perfect laptop for a student as it has a fast processor, lightweight, and the graphics aren't too bad. It is extremely portable and easy to use on the go. I am not much of a gamer, but I do watch a lot of videos and I was able to get around 13-14 hours of use. It takes about 1.5 hours to charge from 10% to 100%, but it has an extended battery life option which stops charging at 85% and then the laptop is powered from the AC adapter. This option also helps to extend the life of the battery itself which is awesome. The laptop is extremely quiet as I rarely ever hear the fan running and it stays pretty cool for the most part and doesn't get too hot which is great. The speakers are average and nothing special. I really like using this laptop during the night as the backlit keyboard looks awesome. Sometimes I prefer to use this laptop over my cell phone or tablet even just for watching videos. The microSD card slot is convenient to add storage space or transfer files from one place to another. The webcam is not the best, but it gets the job done. The trackpad is very responsive and it registers the taps very well so I rarely ever actually have to click. The fingerprint reader makes it super easy and fast to log in which just a touch. An overall great laptop and I would definitely recommend it, but it just depends on what you plan to use it for.
