I'm lookin for something to safetly support a ...
I'm lookin for something to safetly support a Sony FX6 with a SIGMA 150-600mm lens, so that they can be mounted and balanced on a tripod gimbal head, AND removed an carried around as a [camera-and-lens] unit between set-ups. I do not need a shoulder mount for shooting. Would this baseplate be overkill for my purposes? Can anyone recommend anything less elaborate that would be suitable? Thanks.
