Opteka 50mm f/2 Reviews
Good sharpness and contrast, little to complain about

Optics very good, mechanics quite good, fit to my Fuji X-T3 camera is good also but maybe slightly tight. It's less tight on my X-E1 but this is the same with all my Opteka and Meike lenses. Images have punchy contrast and sharpness, with little if any chromatic aberrations. Hard to ask for more at this price and with these spherical optics. It is $20 more than the Meike and I think it is worth it for the image quality. Admittedly, the differences are slight. Sharpness across the frame can be obtained at F5.6 to F8. Center sharpness is very good wide open. Bokeh is pleasant.

I am confused among opteka 50mm f2 and 7artisans 50mm f1.8, how is the image sharpness at widest aperture? I want to use it with xt100.
Our 50mm is very sharp, even at the widest aperture, however, the optimal sharpness is almost always at 2 stops down.
