Does this cable also work with the Aputure 300 D Mark II?
There’s no reason to use this for the Mark II. And no, I don’t think it’s compatible because this extends the connection between the AC adapter and ballast, not the ballast to the light. It’s a different number of pins. The whole point of this cable is to move the AC adapter with its loud fan further away from the set so the mics wouldn’t pick it up. The Mark II doesn’t have a fan in the AC adapter, so it’s not needed. If you need an extension for the Mark II, just get a regular stinger (standard extension cord from a hardware store)

question
Is this 4 or 5 pin cable? The cable from control box to fixture is 5 pin, but the image shows the 4 pin cable (this to connect AC adapter to control box)
The yes the cable from the control box to the fixture is 5 pin. That is the cable we all want extended. The Aputure LS 300d comes with a long 4 pin cable which you can use from the power adapter and connect it with the coupling cable. But our problem "Aputure" is the length of cable from the control box to the fixture. It is about 5 feet. It was getting onto my boom from my C-Stand, very un-thoughtful design. Please make this cable a 5 pin!
