We've used this holder for several years but the metal is stressed and has deformed. We use it at our own risk but I'll be ordering a different brand next.

Great design, poor materials

This holder is only good for very light boom rigs. Mine bent the first day I used it- and I didn’t even fully extend my boom (12 ft). It looked super solid so I was surprised at how easily it bent.
