The lens increases your angle of view by about 100%, making it 100° on the DC2000 camera and 120° on the DC1400. Its effective focal length is 16mm on the former model and 14mm on the latter. Additionally, the optic consists of 5 glass elements in 5 groups, which feature anti-reflection multi-coatings to maximize light transmission and prevent flare.
