Does it work with iPhone camera?
Asked by: Nurit
Hi, this is a professional microphone system supposed to be used with cameras or audio devices that supports XLR or at least 2.5mm audio inputs. I don't know what you mean with iPhone camera. If you can connect this microphone to an iPhone?... maybe, I'm not sure, probably you will need a Lightning connector audio adapter, but you will have that issue not only with this microphone system, with all of them.

are these still legal in the US? Here's what the FCC says about frequencies - Unlicensed wireless microphone use is permitted on the 902-928 MHz band, the 1920-1930 MHz, and on portions of the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands under specified power levels and rules for operation for each of those bands.
Asked by: Mark
These are legal in The US without a liscence. The FCC currently allows wireless microphones in the range of 470-608Mhz to opperate.

has anyone use Sennheiser EW 112P G4 to send line level audio from a computer audio out to a mixer board line level in stereo i know i will need a 3.5 to 3.5 mm for the transmitter and 3.5 to RCA for the mixer board line in?
Asked by: john
While the Sennheiser EW112PG4 can be used to transmit line level audio wirelessly, it will only send a single channel of audio. You can mono sum the output of the computer using this device, BH #RALTIBLOX , use the BH# SECL2 cable for xlr into the transmitter, and go single XLR out into the mixer. If you need stereo sends, you would need two transmitters and two receivers for the 2 channels of audio. Here a system, more designed for stereo transmission, BH #ALSTEALTHWRL.

Yes, they are. I am posting more of the article here that you have quoted, because it refers to the full allocation of usable bands. What you quoted refers to additional extra bands outside of the already allowed bands. "Many frequencies in the TV bands that had been available for wireless microphone use prior to the auction will continue to be available after the transition period. These include: VHF and UHF frequencies on TV channels 2-36, which fall below 608 MHz. Certain frequencies in the 600 MHz guard band: 614-616 MHz. Certain frequencies in the 600 MHz duplex gap: 653-657 MHz for licensed use or 657-663 MHz for unlicensed use. Additional frequencies outside of the TV bands also are available for wireless microphone use. Unlicensed wireless microphone use is permitted on the 902-928 MHz band...."(on to the rest of your quote) Hope that clarifies it.

Hi, I own a Sennheiser EW100 G3 Frequency 643.450 MHZ. I want to buy a EW 112P-G4 Omni Directional Mic to work with my EW100 G3 at the same time on my Gh5 XLR unit. Will these 2 wireless mics work with each other with no interference?
Asked by: Greg
Yes, they can be used at the same time without interfering with one another. Please be aware that the FCC recently auctioned the 600mHz band away from wireless users, and wireless systems between 614 and 698 mHz will no longer be able to be used in the U.S. after July 2020. https://www.fcc.gov/wireless/bureau-divisions/mobility-division/wireless-microphones
