Can this be used to expose cyanotypes?
cyanotypes are usually made with a special photographic paper using white light. This UV LED light is inexpensive enough to go ahead buy one and try it. If it doesn't make pictures, you'll have a nice little black light for very little money.

question
How does this light compare to the Chauvet Slim Par 56?
Not even close. This light is at least 50% smaller and has a cheap noisy fan in it. The Chauvet is a much more dependable light and much better documented. With this one, be prepared to hunt around on the internet for instructions on how to program it, as no manual was included with either of my lights. (esp if using DMX) I ordered 2 and 1 failed within a day. At $25, it's not even worth attempting to return since it's a third party shipper. I'll put it this way, in the last year I've purchased 4 Chauvet Par 56 LED and 16 Chauvet Par 64s LEDs and only 2 of these from B&H and the one of these that works is still in my closet.
