The charcoal Auralex EditMAX Portable Room Treatment Kit offers a portable, absorptive, and expandable solution for controlling unwanted room reflections in run-and-gun audio production applications. Ideal for situations when boundary-mounted acoustical treatments are not feasible or desired, the kit can be quickly positioned to create an accurate monitoring environment for recording, editing, and mixing in the studio, on stage, in the classroom, at home, and more.
The EditMAX kit includes four ProMAX v2 stand-mounted acoustical panels designed to control the room's axial modes and two DeskMAX v2 stand-mounted nearfield panels to help with insufficient rear-wall trapping. Four 24" LENRDs stand-mounted bass traps provide low-frequency damping for a flatter, low-frequency room response. A pair of MoPAD-XL monitor isolation pads provides sonic isolation between your speakers and their resting surface, improving the accuracy and clarity of your monitoring system. The pads come with wedge adjusters to adapt your loudspeakers to listening angles of -8, -4, 0, +4, and +8°.
