Take the compact size and 4K image quality of the HERO6 to the next level. The SyncBac PRO for the HERO6 enables you to incorporate the camera into multicam setups with other GoPros (as well as other pro gear when you add other optional Timecode Systems products). The :pulse allows you to remotely control such setups as well as monitor battery status using an iOS/Android app. This :pulse + 2 SyncBac PROs Bundle from Timecode Systems gives you the starting point to timecode-sync, control, and monitor two HERO6 cameras.
The :pulse from Timecode Systems is a multifunctional timecode and metadata hub and device control center designed for multicamera setups that allow you to view, monitor, and control any B:LINK-enabled device and compatible camera or audio device from a smartphone, tablet, or computer. It can be used to provide a zero-drift timecode and genlock sync for video and film applications.
The large-capacity LiPo internal battery is constantly charged from any of the power inputs and will run the unit for a minimum of 3 to 4 hours with RF, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet switched on. It is suitable for camera battery swaps or location moves.
Additionally, the :pulse has a solid aluminum casing and features a high-resolution blue OLED display. It offers flexible mounting methods and multiple powering options and can be configured as either an RF slave device or a master device.
As GoPro cameras continue to increasingly be used in all types of film and broadcast productions, Timecode Systems offers a solution that further enhances their compatibility with such projects. The SyncBac PRO for GoPro HERO7 Black & HERO6 Black allows the GoPro camera to generate frame-accurate timecode and thereby integrate into multicam workflows with other GoPros and professional cameras and audio gear.
Here's how it all works. If you want to timecode-sync two HERO7/HERO6 cameras, you just need a SyncBac PRO for each one, and the SyncBacs cause the cameras to record MP4 files with timecode embedded in the metadata. When recording is done, the files will be available on the cameras' SD cards. If you want to sync 10 GoPros, the process is the same. Altogether, up to 48 GoPros can be synced.
But if you also want to be able to control the cameras remotely, such as turn one on or off, you would need the optional Timecode Systems :pulse system, which allows for control as well as checking battery status (of the camera and SyncBac) using an accompanying iOS/Android BLINK Hub app over Wi-Fi. This additional system is useful for when you have your GoPros in a 360 rig. (SyncBac PRO for HERO7/HERO6 is compatible with 360RIZE 360 rigs. It doesn't add much size to the camera and fits perfectly into the 360RIZE rigs).
If you want to sync two or more HERO7/HERO6 cameras plus a pro camera and/or a pro audio product, you will need to incorporate the optional Timecode Systems UltraSync ONE. While the SyncBac PROs connect to the GoPros, the UltraSync ONE connects to your pro camera(s)/audio product(s). In this case, the UltraSync ONE will be the timecode master and will provide you with all your timecode. In this case too, if you want remote control, you will require the :pulse system. The UltraSync ONE comes with two cables, but there is a variety of other cables that are available for compatibility with most cameras (please see Accessories tab). For incorporating audio products only, you can use the optional Timecode Systems :wave.
To set up your GoPro HERO7/HERO6 in the SyncBac PRO, insert the camera into the included SyncBac PRO Backdoor frame and connect the two using the supplied USB sync cable.
