Carson Hornet 8x22 Reviews

Nice field glasses for intended use

Needed a pair of binoculars for day long hikes and field trips. Priorities were compact size and light weight. Couldn’t pass up these Carson glasses- for two reasons- already have a pair of Carson binoculars I’m very pleased with and the price on this pair can’t be beat. Have had these now for couple of weeks and they’re going to be fine. Very small and light- easily fit in my kit with other gear I take along on outings. They are so small in fact people with large hands may have a little difficulty handling and focusing them. Optically they perform very well- surprisingly sharp. Brightness falls off some in dim light and there is some lens flare at times when looking in direction of light source, but not bad. They will serve the purpose for which I bought them very well and the build quality is top notch. I expect them to hold up and last a long time.
