Ibanez AS93FM Artcore Expressionist Series Hollow-Body Electric Guitar (Left-Handed, Violin Sunburst)

Styled in a violin sunburst finish, the Ibanez Artcore Expressionist Series AS93FM is a left-handed, hollow-body electric guitar made from flamed maple for the top, back, and sides. The neck is mostly maple too—with some help from maple's good friend, mahogany. Yes, the mahogany/maple set-in neck gives you more than an apt wood combination; you also get a 24.7" scale and a 22-fret bound-ebony fingerboard with acrylic block inlays that scream vintage.

This hollow double-cutaway guitar delivers a warm, resonant sound that is well suited for playing jazz, funk, blues, and rock: a sound made even more palatable by a pair of Super 58 humbucking pickups—the preferred choice of hepcats such as George Benson, Pat Metheny, and John Scofield. A 3-way pickup selector switch alongside dedicated volume and tone controls for each pickup give you the ability to fine-tune the timbre and volume of each pickup position.
